Description

In the picturesque area of Skaftárhreppur, in the heart of the Icelandic countryside, my lens sank into the fascinating landscape. This extraordinary place became the backdrop for my lens, capturing a moment when nature became an artist.

This place is first and foremost a piece of magical land, where mighty mountains meet delicate meadows and streams flow freely between the stones. This place is one of the few corners where time seems to stand still, leaving us with a feeling of tranquillity and at the same time amazed by its wild beauty.

This photograph is an attempt to share with the viewer the mystery of this place, its ever-changing colours, the light that dances across the horizon and the peace it evokes in the traveller’s soul.
